When SCUF Gaming signed a multi-year partnership with Oracle Red Bull Racing, the easy play was to focus on sim racing. But that would have missed the point. More than 70 percent of racing gamers use a controller, not a wheel, and Red Bull’s fans play far more than racing games. We didn’t build a controller for racing. We built it for the Red Bull fan.
The connection between the two brands was obvious: innovation, performance, and a shared reputation for doing things their own way. Both are built around the pursuit of speed and championships, whether that’s on the track or in competitive gaming. Our campaign leaned into that shared DNA through two themes: “Champions Never Stop” and “Built for Speed.” Over two years and two design collections, we brought the partnership to life through advertising, social content, email, and a dedicated web experience. As a lifelong Formula 1 fan, it was one of the most rewarding projects of my time at SCUF.
