After more than seven years leading creative for one of the most innovative brands in competitive gaming, you end up with a lot of content. Below is a collection of work spanning product launches, creator partnerships, social content, and the everyday storytelling that keeps the brand moving.

NoisyButters Product Launch

Hannah “NoisyButters” Bryan is one of SCUF’s most beloved partners. A longtime SCUF player and creator, she’s known for her positivity and relentless energy. But behind the smile is the “Queen of Call of Duty.” This was the launch video celebrating her latest SCUF controller.

ESPYS: Esports Moment of the Year

Timothy “oLARRY” Anselimo won the inaugural Esports Moment of the Year at the ESPYS after surviving a shooting that nearly ended his career. Two bullets shattered his hand, forcing doctors to reconstruct his thumb. He returned the following season as one of the top players in the NBA 2K League, a league SCUF sponsored at the time. We learned about the opportunity the day before the awards and turned this tribute piece around overnight. Simple, but still one of my favorites.

Be Gaming: SonicFox

SCUF’s “Be Gaming” campaign featured eleven films focused on players and their stories. One stood out. Dominique “SonicFox” McLean is a legend in the fighting game community, an eight-time Evolution Championship Series winner known for doing things their own way. A fierce competitor who often appears on stage in the blue-and-white fox “fursona” that inspired their name, SonicFox has built a career on being unapologetically themselves. They also happen to compete with a controller instead of the traditional fight stick, making them the perfect player to tell a SCUF story.

SCUF Envision Launch

The truth was simple. No one was asking for a PC gaming controller. There were already dozens that technically worked on PC. But none were designed specifically for it. SCUF changed that with Envision, a controller built from the ground up for PC gamers. When creators first saw it, the reaction was immediate: “WTF is this?” That moment inspired our launch campaign and this video.
